6 Days Before Halloween, Ryan Reynolds Runs Into His Brother in a Surprising Costume
Ryan Reynolds is one of the most prominent figures in the enthralling world of Tinseltown. The Canadian-born actor is known for his keen wit and comedy, as evidenced by his roles in films such as Deadpool, The Proposal, and many others. Aside from his professional life, the actor is exactly the same in his personal life, frequently pulling practical jokes on his loved ones. However, a recent occurrence demonstrated a crucial saying: comedy runs in the family.
The Reynolds brothers clearly have a close relationship, as proven by their numerous Instagram stories. And recently, the brothers ran into each other in a surprising costume even before the spooky season began.

The universe operates in a Canuck fashion. This phrase was proven when the Deadpool star collided with his elder brother Terry Reynolds while running some errands on the streets of New York. Terry posted the amusing encounter on his Instagram account, captioning it “What are the odds” of stumbling into your own brother while performing different activities in a city of 8.5 million people. What makes it even more amusing is that both brothers were donning the same Wrexham hats.
Everyone is aware of the actor’s connection with Wrexham, as he is the co-owner of the football club along with actor Rob McElhenney. While he and his brother were twinning on the streets of NY, the Latter Days wished the actor his 47th birthday recently by submitting a proposal for a new public park for him days back. As Reynolds is set to use the park “to weep whenever Wrexham AFC suffers a loss,” this random meeting between the two brothers was nothing but enchanting to witness.
The spooky season certainly brings out the best in everyone, as it did for the brothers. But the strikes that have engulfed the Hollywood sphere have made it a little difficult to really celebrate it. And Ryan Reynolds called this out along with others.

The SAG-AFTRA strikes have prohibited actors from wearing certain Halloween costumes in order to unintentionally promote the content of a disputed studio. This includes pop culture icons such as Wednesday Addams, Barbie, and now Disney-owned Marvel characters. As a result, the actors must dress in costumes of ghosts, zombies, or spiders. This irritated Ryan Reynolds, who expressed his discontent in a playful way.
On his official X (formerly Twitter) account, the Deadpool star mocked the guidelines. He joked that he would have to yell “scab” at his 8-year-old daughter all night. He also stated that his daughter is not a member of the union, but she needs to learn. While the actor is in solidarity with the union, it seems as if this rule did not sit well with him.
