The world of bots felt far from reality when the Avengers: Age of Ultron was released. A time and place where robots can rule us was far away from reality. But with Artificial Intelligence taking up a fast pace, it can be real. With the launch of ChatGPT, people have started to explore AI in each profession, from writing to even singing.

While for writing, we have new AI tools coming in to help spot plagiarism, but in the case of creative fields, that is far from reality. And now, the creator of The Avengers has spoken about its power and the dangerous consequences it can bring to the world.

Joe Russo Raises Alarming Concerns About AI

Citadel director Joe Russo has shared his concerns about the growing use of AI in an alarming way. He shared with Variety, I think everyone should be scared of AI”. He further added that AI should help us to take advantage of its services rather than the other way around.

Russo shared his alarming views about AI during his new show at Citadel’s premiere. The use of AI has also become a reason for a strike by the Writers Guild of America (WGA). He also mentioned how a new AI song was doing the rounds on social media. The song was so apt that it was difficult to distinguish Drake’s voice from the same.

AI Is Shaking the Music Industry

With the ease of producing songs in any artist’s voice, AI is making the music industry vulnerable. While artists fear the same and UMG is trying to put a ban on the same, music expert Dr. E Michael Harrington feels there’s nothing to be scared of. According to him, AI can only copy and not be innovative on its own.

Kanye West and Drake have been doing the most rounds on social media with AI voiceovers. So much so that people at first thought them to be real.

It is certain that AI will stay here for a long time. Artists have nothing to fear from them, as AI cannot add their artistic spirits to the art.
