During the conversation, the interviewer expressed her love for Euphoria‘s Cassie Howard and revealed she wore her outfit on Halloween last year. This remark made the portrayer smile and said she also deeply admired the character. “She means a lot to me on a human level and then also as a character,” explained the Emmy-nominated star. 

The actress continued, she loved playing Cassie because “She’s so all over the place”. According to her, the character’s reaction to situations always stemmed from her emotions of pain and happiness. The White Lotus star felt several people had misunderstood Howard, but she loved how the character made her feelings obvious rather than hiding them. The credit for bringing out the best of Cassie’s emotions certainly goes to Sweeney.

Will Sweeney return as Cassie in Euphoria season 3? 

In February 2022, Euphoria got renewed for season three, but the shooting has not begun yet. Neither the show’s creators have confirmed the release date nor cast members who will reprise their roles. Probably, the show will hit the streamer somewhere in 2025 considering the busy schedule of actors like Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney.
