“She is someone who you dream of…” – Sydney Sweeney Once Opened Up about This Actress She Worked with on ‘Sharp Objects’
Sydney Sweeney is just 25 years old, but she has worked with some of the biggest legends in the industry. Be it the old ones like Quentin Tarantino or Jean-Marc Vallee, or be it Zendaya or Dakota Johnson, Sweeney has worked with all of them. She is often questioned about her work experiences with the legends she has worked with. And the most recent one she talked about was a renowned Hollywood actress.
Though Sweeney has been active in the industry from a very young age, she got her first significant breakthrough in HBO’s Sharp Objects. She played the role of a teenager, Alice, who shared a room with a major character, Camille, at a mental hospital. And the role of Camille was played by none other than the iconic Amy Adams. Working with such a legend at the beginning of her career was a huge deal for the beautiful blonde.

Working with such a famous actress so closely was a big exposure for Sweeney. When she was interviewed on the ‘Awards Chatter’ podcast for The Hollywood Reporter, the host asked her about her experience working with Adams. In reply to that, she said, “She is someone who you dream of working with but then also terrified because you’re like ‘How am I going to be opposite of somebody like that'”.
Sweeney’s character in the show assisted Camille in broadening her musical preferences as the two spent time together. And as they spent quite a lot of time in the show together, Sweeney discovered some amazing things about Adams.

As she got to know the Leap Year actress, she found that, apart from being an amazing actress, Adams is also a beautiful human being and an amazing mother. Sweeney also revealed that just watching her work and observing how she dives into her characters was a pleasure. She said that she learned how to be and how to listen from Adams.
