The age-old hard-wired, Hollywood-allergic British Empire is going places. There have been polarizing differences between the UK’s monarchy under Queen Elizabeth and that of King Charles. Netflix’s critically acclaimed royal drama series, The Crown made it quite obvious that King Charles would bring along with him a fresh wave of modernization into the strict royal protocols. And he has been doing it just right. More so, a family that could not run lines with Suits star Meghan Markle, as a Duchess, did not hesitate to associate with the Sex Education Bombshell, Emma Mackey. 

Being the first ever monarch to address the French senate, King Charles established his feet in Paris after a chaotic delay. However, the city of love had other prominent politicians, rock stars, and a Sex Education lead cast to offer King Charles’ company.

King Charles attended a star-studded event at the Palace of Versailles 

The King just delivered a landmark speech at the French senate showing off his language skills. Prior to it, the Sovereigns received a rapturous welcome at the Palace of Versailles. Hosted by the French President President Macron and his 70-year-old wife, King Charles took delight in a grand star-studded event at the historic monument gilded with top-tier Hollywood actors. 

The Guest of Honors, King Charles, his wife, and other high-profile officials rubbed shoulders with stars like Hugh Grant, and the French-British actress Emma Mackey known for her role in the raunchy Netflix drama. The list does not end here as joining the lot was Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger, according to Mail.  

Adding to it, the hype around the star spoke for itself through her impeccable fashion sense.

Adding to the late summer celebrations was the half-French star bringing her fashion A-game to the event. Keeping it simple yet elegant, she donned a “sophisticated” halter neck with a right-cut hem. Completing the all-black look with strappy black heels, she accessorized the look with a black miniature clutch for the event. 

The star has been in much limelight as the fourth installment of the Teen-Sex comedy drama just dropped on Netflix. Mackey is back with her role for season four but has unfortunately also confirmed that this was her last. She would be leaving the show after the fourth season, which is also being called the show’s final trip.
