Arnold Schwarzenegger has been a part of the Hollywood industry since 1970 through his performance in Hercules in New York. The actor famously came to America with only $27,000, despite being the greatest bodybuilder of all time for years. Had it been anyone else, it would have been impossible to reach the pinnacle that he did in the industry. And one of the driving elements behind his success is the fact that he was always marketed as a global star, rather than privy to the American audience. This was done through movie promotions around the globe that served as a blueprint for stars like Tom Cruise and Will Smith. And years later, he has still got it.

The 75-year-old actor returned to the acting industry after four years with a Netflix series. And this was special to his fans not only because it brought back Schwarzenegger the actor but also Schwarzenegger the global star. Given that it has been quite some time since the last time he went on promotion, the actor opted for a different approach for FUBAR. One that would give his fans the best of both worlds, as he brought his iconic stogie and ASMR mics with his on-screen daughter, Monica Barbaro.

While it was guaranteed that the series is going to be a major success given that it had the Austrian Oak at the helm of affairs, the actor and the streaming giant left no stone unturned during the promotion. Schwarzenegger did what he does best, and that is being himself. This resulted not only in a memorable promotion for FUBAR, but also honest confessions ranging from his affair to the next Terminator movie.

While the candid interviews were fun, seeing Schwarzenegger try his hand at ASMR was next level. It really made fans think about re-evaluating their perception of boomers. Especially as the actor stands by not being one himself.

Schwarzenegger’s wide-spanning career boasts of three notable jobs: bodybuilder, politician, and governor. However, fans were of the belief that a secret agent might as well be added to his expertise given the amount of times he has played one. This is until they watched him try his best to be quiet during the ASMR interview.

It is not to say that the Austrian Oak is bad at doing ASMR. The actor can, at this moment, start a channel dedicated to doing ASMR and he will gain millions of followers. But fans are now skeptical of him being a CIA agent or leading an ASMR channel. This is because the actor dramatically started to itch his beard at the mention of “gentle touch.” And even sharpened his knives very loudly until Monica Barbaro came to his rescue. Therefore, proving that Schwarzenegger is good at 99 things, but ASMR ain’t one.
