What does heartbreak look like for a seven-time Mr. Olympia title winner? In the case of the only standing man of such a revered title, Arnold Schwarzenegger, it would mean not being able to workout. This is just as true now as it was during the days he was competing as a bodybuilder with the champion heading his own fitness village.

Always a camera magnet, the world champion turned global star was spotted out and about casually sporting a surgery cast around his arm as if it were the AR-18 and he was on the set of The Terminator.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has recently taken on the role of a full-blown fitness influencer for fans of his newsletter. From healthy recipes to priceless fitness motivation, Schwarzenegger does it all. This is why the sight of a cast around his arm, which as per sources of TMZ, is a result of an elbow surgery, sank many hearts. However, the source, who is also close to the Austrian Oak, added that it would only be a matter of weeks before the champion is back in the gym.

The actor had to take it easy on his workout routine, given that he was still recovering from his surgery. This is why it has been quite a while since he was spotted biking with his girlfriend. Given his demanding schedule and stamina, one would think the surgery had to do something with a dislocation, however, it was a result of “nerve damage in his elbow.

While this is the first time fans are getting to see things unfold in front of their eyes, it is sadly not Arnold Schwarzenegger’s first time going under the knife.

The Austrian Oak’s dangerous heart surgery

From doing a dangerous stunt that had even James Cameron gawking to refusing to slack on his pushups in his 70s, there are not a lot of dangers that Arnold Schwarzenegger avoids. However, the actor revealed on his The Pump YouTube channel that when he was undergoing his third heart surgery, he found himself  “in the middle of a disaster.”

Unlike his previous surgeries, which date back to the early days of his career, his third heart surgery was relatively recent. The actor was filming Terminator: Dark Fate when it happened. Perhaps this is one of the reasons he is adamant about not making another Terminator movie. While that is still debatable, what is clear is that Arnold Schwarzenegger is in what he likes to call his “reload” phase because “Action heroes don’t  retire, they just reload.”
