The reports of Wrexham AFC being the next big thing have become to slow out, and right on their cue, finance experts have stepped in to help Reynolds and McElhenney step out unscathed.

However, a mainstream attraction may not be enough to fill one's pockets after they deck out $2.5 million. Taking this and the cost of keeping the club going into consideration, Kieran Maguire on his Price of Football podcast, has said, "If they were to sell the club today, then they would be able to sell and recoup all of those losses."

The finance expert explained that funding the club from their own pockets will only escalate the duo's ride to rock bottom. However, if they were to sell the club and someone was to buy it, including Reynolds and McElhenney's affiliation to the same, it would help them continue their wholesome relationship with the couple while also saving them bucks.
