Ryan Reynolds Wore Down Gal Gadot’s Patience, Making Her Land in Margot Robbie’s Company Instead
Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot were seen going head-to-head as rival criminals in Red Notice. Who would have guessed their real-life chemistry would be just as competitive? The actors, who headlined the most-watched film on Netflix back in 2021 despite mixed reviews, have been in the news for years about reviving their on-screen rivalry with a sequel to Red Notice. There were even rumors that the film would get not one, but two follow-ups, shooting back-to-back in 2023. Well, it is 2024, and those sequels are nowhere in sight.
It seems the delay has not only tested the patience of fans but also Gal Gadot's, who has now found herself in Margot Robbie’s orbit.

More than anyone, Gal Gadot has reportedly been eagerly anticipating a sequel to Red Notice, as soon as the first part debuted on the small screens. However, her co-stars, Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds, preferred to hold off. After waiting for two years, Gadot eventually "lost patience with Dwayne and Ryan" and has now turned to the husband-wife producing duo of Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley for an exciting new project, according to an insider from Life & Style.
The insider revealed that Barbie star Margot Robbie and her husband “love her (Gadot) and are trying to find something to do with her”. However, Gadot's move might put her at odds with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, as it is rumored they are in a rivalry with Robbie and Ackerley to prove who is the more powerful Hollywood couple. And the ultimate test for Reynolds and Lively as a power couple will be how they weather the latest storm that has come their way.
An insider told the same outlet that Ryan Reynolds is stepping up to support his wife following the backlash against It Ends With Us.

Blake Lively might be facing the toughest phase of her career yet, but she has got some of the most influential people backing her up. Alongside her husband, Ryan Reynolds, she also has her pop star bestie, Taylor Swift, in her corner. And it will not be long before she navigates through this rough patch, as an insider from Life & Style revealed that Reynolds is currently working on rebranding Lively’s image.
Reynolds is reportedly collaborating with Lively’s team, and "with his keen eye for branding and his ability to turn any situation into a winning moment," he might just help his wife weather the controversy. The insider also said that anyone who tries to stand in their way is "almost guaranteed to get steamrolled". Therefore, it is safe to say that by joining Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley’s camp, Gal Gadot might have stirred up some trouble for herself in Hollywood.
