Especially on Morena Baccarin's birthday, the actress who portrays Deadpool's wife, Reynolds embraced the anti-heroic charm of Deadpool to send his heartfelt wishes to his on-screen spouse.

Leaning towards his trademark wit, Reynolds also confessed to feeling a hint of embarrassment while expressing his warm regards to Baccarin. 

On Monday, Ryan Reynolds took to his Instagram story to extend his heartfelt wishes to Morena Baccarin on her 45th birthday. Maintaining his trademark Deadpool charm, the actor shared a photo with Baccarin on his stories, captioning it with "10 years of happy birthdays for Morena Baccarin," while admitting a bit of "shame" for not having the cat and beer in their celebration.

The mention of 10 years marks how long Reynolds and Baccarin have known each other. In 2014, the leaked test footage of Deadpool played a pivotal role in getting the movie green-lit by Fox, which further led Reynolds and Baccarin to cross their paths. Reynolds seemingly implied that Baccarin's birthday is a joyous occasion primarily because she met Deadpool, as celebrations a decade before this may have been lacking in anti-heroic antics.
