Ryan Reynolds and his cinematic creativity is well known throughout Hollywood. However, in addition to his performing pursuits, the actor also promotes a variety of social issues. While the audience always enjoys seeing his caustic side on screen, the actor is no different off-screen. He applied the same sense of comedy to his collaboration with the Sick Kids Foundation, which is near and dear to his heart. However, in the video, the actor is not alone; he is accompanied by a couple of “pr*cks.”
In a recent video, the 47-year-old actor can be seen starring in a satirical advertisement alongside the foundation’s children.

To commemorate the holiday season, the Deadpool actor shared a video clip on his official X (formerly Twitter) account with the caption, “I love these little pr*cks” in his trademark humorous style. In the shared video, the actor covers everything related to the foundation, from advanced care to the talented staff. Not only did Ryan Reynolds appear in the ad wearing a Christmas-themed bow sweater, but the video also included several other famous personalities.
After Reynolds NHL superstar Austin Mathews appears, a young child begins yelling that she wants Michael Bublé. This was greeted with the same destiny when Bublé appeared in the video, with the same girl screaming that she wanted Anne Murray. The singer concludes the video by requesting donations to the foundation by midnight on December 24. Notably, Samsung Canada will match all donations up to $100,000.
The video depicts Reynolds’ normal witty side, yet just last year, the actor and several others raised a large sum for the Sick Kids Foundation.

The actor and his wife, Blake Lively, are members of various humanitarian foundations. During the holiday season last year, the actor teamed with the organization to generate money for the foundation’s life-saving care for young children by wearing an “aesthetically pleasing” sweater. Further in the shared clip, he mentions “become a symbol for how much we all care about children at Sick Kids Hospital,” based in Toronto.
The video also featured the actor encouraging his fans to donate to the charity. Several celebrities, including Olympic legend Andre De Grasse, were photographed for the good cause. The Toronto Maple Leafs also participated in the promotion, signing a limited number of sweaters to collect donations for the hospital. Surprisingly, by the end of the campaign, the Deadpool actor and his “aesthetically pleasing” sweater had raised more than $850,000 for the Sick Kids Foundation.
