The upcoming Deadpool movie will be bringing back Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, which has already generated enough hype surrounding the movie. But casting surprises didn’t end there as the film is rumored to be a star-studded affair. And now the Free Guy actor has given the fans another hint by liking a tweet about Walker Scobell playing Kidpool in the third Deadpool installment. A Twitter page named Culture Crave shared the news and fans have not been able to keep their calm since then, owing to how perfect the casting would be.

It is a popular belief that if there is any other actor who can replicate Reynolds’ persona on screen, it is Scobell. The 14-year-old can be emotional, funny, and crazy, and even do a “superhero landing“, everything the character of Merc With a Mouth requires. Apart from that, Scobell himself has been a huge fan of Deadpool and even remembered the entire script of the second part before he turned into a teenager.

So, it is understandable why fans are so excited about the younger Adam playing Kidpool.

Fans’ heartwarming response to Walker Scobell joining Deadpool

A clip of Scobell auditioning for the role in The Adam Project was doing the rounds for a long time. In this clip, the young actor was seen reading his lines in front of the casting director and the Deadpool lead himself. That one-minute clip was enough to let the world know about how confident the 14-year-old is about his craft. Sharing the same video in response to the post, a fan wrote how Scobell remembered the entire script of Deadpool 2.

Fans even expressed their concern regarding a kid playing a superhero in an R-rated movie. However, seeing how confidently Scobell cursed in the audition clip in front of Reynolds, it is safe to say that the kid is a perfect fit!

Fans also pointed out how Scobell will form an identity of a “younger version of Ryan Reynolds” if he really plays Kidpool. This could also lead to the typecasting of the young actor early in his career.
