Ryan Reynolds serves what he promises! The 46-year-old Canadian actor and entrepreneur has a knack for doing everything with sheer perfection and does not stop until success knocks on his door. And well, he knows his ways. For over 3 decades, the Deadpool mercenary’s virtues are on full display as he uses his wit not only as an actor but also to expand his well-established business empire. The latest installment to which was a $2 million acquisition of the Welsh club.
Notably, ever since he and his actor friend Rob McElhenney got the rights to the club, they swore to bring it back to its previous glory. And they have been quite lucrative at it. Bagging a historic win against Notts County, Wrexham FC has already proved its merit and driven back fans towards itself. And it seems like the owners are now championing on this. Ryan Reynolds is seemingly working flesh and bones to make his club a globally recognized brand. He has apparently filed several trademarks to build on this dream.

As per the reports, they have already trademarked Wrexham FC 1864 in the US. Similarly, in the UK, the trademark ‘Wrexham is the Name’ has been registered. And an application for Welcome to Wrexham is undergoing the official process in the US and Canada. Additionally, RR McReynolds, the club’s holding company, commissioned the creation of retail goods reflecting the club’s name, such as toys, apparel, games, sportswear, and even entertainment services.
Meanwhile, the existing season of the Netflix documentary, Welcome to Wrexham is already ruling fans’ hearts. It seems like the day is perhaps not far away when the club, per Reynolds’ dream, will become a “global force.”

While he is working each day to bring the glamorous wings of his Welsh Football club back, Reynolds does not want to stop there. Rumors had it that The Adam Project star is also competing to buy the Ottawa Senators NHL team. However, the Vancouver native previously confessed that it is too expensive a club and he would need a “sugar mommy” or “sugar daddy.”
Reynolds informed various media outlets that he needs someone with “deep pockets”. And it seems like he has got one. He is reportedly in partnership with an Ontario-based real estate company, Remington Group, and may join hands with Dwayne Johnson to crack the deal. However, detailed insights on the same are yet to come.
