Now the trailer for season 2 has left audiences all the more intrigued due to Reynolds’ remark in the clip saying “the King of England called.” The presiding monarch of a kingdom, acknowledging them via a personal call, made even the very accomplished Deadpool star go “Wow.”
This revelation was the highlight of the clip that also showcased the monumental achievements of the club as well as its future. With King Charles in their corner, fans of the club are left wondering what this could mean for the team’s future. Things seem to be looking up and going higher for Wrexham AFC with each passing day.

Last year, the monarch visited the Welsh town alongside Queen Consort Camilla. Seeing how Ryan Reynolds and McElhenney had transformed the financially struggling club into a thriving one, the royals were pulled to Racecourse Ground. Posting the occurrence to his Twitter, the 46-year-old even hinted at the King’s involvement with the Welcome to Wrexham’s season 2 back then!

Appreciating them for their success in bringing the historic team back to its glory days, they congratulated the foreign owners’ efforts towards the town. Based on the trailer of Season 2 of the show, it seems like King Charles’ support for the team has continued since their visit.
