Ryan Reynolds’ New X-Booty Era Has Fans Cracking up Ahead of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine'

Deadpool is not the first superhero Ryan Reynolds has taken the reins of. Before the actor found his superhero calling with the Merc with a Mouth, he played Marvel’s Hannibal King in 2004's Blade: Trinity and DC’s Green Lantern in the titular movie. However, despite playing these many superhumans with special powers, Reynolds has never felt as powerful as he recently did while entering a new era of X-men with Hugh Jackman, ahead of the release of Deadpool & Wolverine.

On X, @Bosslogic recently ushered in this new era for Deadpool and Wolverine by sharing two new versions of the mutants with short legs and inflated butts. These new posters were modeled after Deadpool’s much-talked-about, perfectly rounded tush, a joke which now also seemed to have pulled Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in. The era was named “THE X-BOOTY ERA”. And nothing this quirky escapes Ryan Reynolds' radar. The actor took to X in response to the post, saying, “I’ve never felt so powerful. Never.”

This was not the only hilarious marketing stunt that the Deadpool & Wolverine team, especially Reynolds, pulled out of their hat in the last few days. From comparing Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine character to real animal wolverines to comedic ads for condiments, deodorant, fast food, beer, and reality shows, the marketing for Deadpool & Wolverine is only getting wilder by the minute.

Fans are having a field day with the new posters of Deadpool and Wolverine characters on X and Ryan Reynolds' reaction to them.

Ryan Reynolds had fans in stiches with the X-Booty era

The X-Booty eras of Deadpool and Wolverine came about after Xbox recently dropped the announcement of butt-shaped controllers featuring the superhero characters for gamers. In fact, the posters shared by @Bosslogic made it look like Deadpool and Wolverine’s bodies were practically glued onto the controllers. And fans did not miss the reference. They pointed out how the Booty-eras Deadpool and Wolverine looked very similar to the new quirky and absurd Microsoft controllers.

Meanwhile, many fans could not resist cracking jokes about the booty-era and Ryan Reynolds’ remark about never feeling this powerful before.
