Deadpool & Wolverine is making the best of their promotional trail. Only 20 days are left for the movie to make the entire planet go mutant-mad. Throughout the marketing campaign, the franchise has sparked anticipation among fans with numerous Easter eggs, teasers, cameo rumors, and the unbeatable chemistry between its leads, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds. As the team enters their last days of promotions, the lead actors are not leaving any stone unturned to lure fans into theaters. 

Ryan Reynolds, however, still felt the need to apologize to Marvel Studios for not doing something he was supposed to.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman took on a global press tour this month for Deadpool & Wolverine. On the second stop of the tour, in Korea, the actors had a chance to participate in Seoul's 2024 Waterbomb Festival. The Hollywood Reporter shared a clip of the two having a water fight at the festival, which was then shared by Ryan Reynolds in his Instagram story. The Deadpool star apologized to Marvel Studios for turning their promotional campaign into “the greatest vacation” of their lives.

Reynolds and Jackman were seen having a blast operating water guns and drenching each other head-to-toe with spray attacks. The two practically brought the energy of Deadpool and Wolverine on stage, mixed with friendship and rivalry, and instantly formed a connection with the crowd. This is pretty much what has been happening on the Internet as well, thanks to their insane marketing strategies. While the tour made Reynolds apologetic, it led Hugh Jackman to push for a different genre for the upcoming movie.

Upon seeing all the posts surfacing from the tour, Hugh Jackman seemingly found some scope for romance between the two dynamic superheroes.

An Instagram page named avengergram recently shared a post for Deadpool & Wolverine that came from the tour. The page joked about the Deadpool & Wolverine press tour posts giving “romantic comedy” vibes. The reason being that the posts showcased some unexpected chemistry between the leads, ignoring the fact that the comic heroes get on each other’s nerves every other moment.

Deadpool was seen lifting Wolverine up as if they were performing a romantic dance routine. Hugh Jackman showed his approval of the “romantic comedy” claim by sharing the post on his Instagram story as well. With the vacation-like press tour currently underway, who knows what more shenanigans the two dysfunctional superhero stars will bring ahead of the anticipated release?
