Ryan Reynolds, with his irresistible blend of non-threatening masculinity and approachability, has won the admiration of not just women but even men across the world. And his on-screen alter ego, Deadpool, along with his shenanigans, have only cranked up the hyperbolic, tongue-in-cheek expressions of adoration fans have for this star. While many might indulge in the fanciful daydreams about adopting the charming and hilarious actor someday, it turns out Ryan Reynolds has indeed been put up for 'adoption'- but not in the way one might think.

Georgia has recently found its very own Ryan Reynolds, who, with a heart full of love, is looking for a new family.

Deadpool & Wolverine featured many jaw-dropping cameos throughout the movie. However, without a doubt, one of the most adorable cameos was that of Dogpool, played by Peggy the Pugese. But who could have thought that Ryan Reynolds has a canine variant of himself in real life as well? The Franklin County Dog Shelter in Georgia recently sheltered a charming 3-year-old Mini Goldendoodle named Ryan Reynolds. According to the description, the pup is great with people of all ages- so, much like the human variant.

Ryan Reynolds, the actor, and his on-screen dog variant, Peggy the Pugese, created some truly heartwarming moments for fans during Deadpool & Wolverine’s promotion. Their bond with each other was evident both on and off-screen. The actor even took a jab at Peggy on X, saying how she was also the "Intimacy Coordinator" who hurled her "leathery, 32-inch tongue into your throat and down to the bottom of your stomach." However, this was all part of the reason why Peggy also received an MTV title nomination from Reynolds.

Wade Wilson's new sidekick, Dogpool, might not have had a ton of screen time, but she certainly stole the show every time she appeared. Following the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds took to social media to crown Peggy as the “MTV Best Kiss Nominee” of the year. And that should not be surprising at all considering the number of times she was seen rubbing her tongue across Deadpool’s face.

Reynolds has shared several Dogpool images from the movie, including the iconic kiss, as well as other charming moments. Unless Blake Lively is prepared to share her husband with the undeniably irresistible Peggy, fans might just witness even more sparks flying between Dogpool and Deadpool in future installments- well, before Marvel’s universe of variants fully collides with real life.
