Ryan Reynolds Is About to Square Off With Donald Trump’s Lawyer on the Racecourse Ground

Donald Trump and Ryan Reynolds’ worlds are far apart. However, over the years, the intersection of entertainment and politics has blurred the lines for these influential figures from different fields. Reynolds only started voting in America a few years ago, due to his Canadian roots. And now, he has even more reasons to get pulled into the political drama, much like other megastars of his caliber. But this time, it is not Donald Trump who has come Reynolds’ way.

It is Trump’s lawyer, who is about to face off against Ryan Reynolds while also taking a page from one of his most successful business moves.

Ryan Reynolds has found great success with his takeover of Wrexham AFC alongside partner Rob McElhenney. Since the Hollywood duo took charge, the club's value has shot up by $7.84 million- now standing at $10.08 million after three years. And it seems, Donald Trump’s former lawyer, Joe Tacopina, is looking to follow suit by taking over Wrexham's oldest rivals, Tranmere Rovers, as per The Mirror. Just like Wrexham before its comeback, Tranmere has always been in the shadow of nearby football heavyweights Liverpool and Everton.

Tacopina, therefore, has been in talks throughout the year about orchestrating a major comeback of the EFL team after he takes over. According to The Athletic, his bid is now just waiting for the green light from the association. Nonetheless, although Trump has not directly crossed paths with Reynolds this time, the Deadpool star did find himself in the ongoing mess of party endorsements anyway.

Since the election campaign began, there has been a surge of fake testimonials from American actors, singers, and athletes regarding the presidential candidates. And as per researchers, most of these were generated with the help of artificial intelligence. In one such viral image, Ryan Reynolds was seen wearing a shirt that read, "Kamala removes nasty orange stains."

As soon as the photo hit the web, it received 186,000 views and was shared far and wide. However, after a careful examination of the technical errors and inconsistencies in the images, it was confirmed to be fake, most likely created by AI. But unlike his close friend Taylor Swift, Reynolds has chosen not to disclose his presidential support for any party, despite all the fake endorsements.
