Ever since Reynolds and Rob McElhenney picked up the Welsh football club, the two have been obsessed with it. The Deadpool actor is even more so, given how he wishes to spend the summer in Wales. But it doesn’t seem like Lively is too excited about the idea.

Wrexham AFC, a team in the fifth tier of English football, was recently acquired by Reynolds and fellow actor Rob McElhenney. The club’s promotion to League Two was a significant achievement. The 46-year-old actor, who is famous for his humorous antics, is keen to celebrate the achievement with his family. As reported by Daily Mail, the Vancouver-born actor would like his wife to stay in Wales for the summer to celebrate Wrexham’s promotion with the team’s fans.

Lively, who is also an actor and Reynolds’ wife of ten years, has not yet commented on Reynolds’ suggestion. However, given the couple’s playful nature and love of humor, it is likely that he made the comment in jest. Although the Gossip Girl star wants to go back home and is ready to work. She recently appeared in two major events in the USA after giving birth to her fourth child. Well, it seems the Deadpool actor will have to work his charm if he wants his wife to stay.
