Taking to X, the father of three expressed his heartfelt gratitude to SickKids, a Toronto-based hospital for sick children, for having watched his screening on Wednesday, May 14th. “A big thanks to @sickkids for spending the time with us to watch @IFMovie,” wrote the star. The star-studded event turned into a heartfelt endeavor of goodwill and kindness, with these kids as the special guests for the show.
Replying to the tweet, the official IF movie account added how it was the best screening a movie could ever have. “Best screening we could ever imagine,” wrote the account, celebrating the movie's inaugural success. The screening took place in New York City, where the cast and crew shared a moment together before the audience.
Apart from the SickKids, some of Reynolds' and Kransiski's old, new, and imaginary friends all turned up for the show.

Although his wife, Blake Lively, was nowhere to be found, the all-time gorgeous John Kransiski's wife, Oscar nominee Emily Blunt, filled the void. Accompanying her was her Oppenheimer co-star, Matt Damon. Adding to the list was Bradley Cooper, who even brought out his 6-year-old daughter, Lea de Seine, who was quite the center of attraction at the event.
IF will be brought to US theaters on May 17, 2024, by Paramount Pictures. The buzz has already started to build with Reynold's exclusive behind-the-screen leaks and latest premiere reviews. Fans are all stoked to see Reynolds starring in a film that's a departure from his usual typecast. With its heartwarming story and "live-action Pixar" vibe, IF is shaping up to be a must-see for families and movie lovers alike.
