Reynolds recently took to social media to bring the spotlight on this co-star, praising her for not only meeting but exceeding expectations and quickly becoming a fan favorite overnight.

Deadpool & Wolverine was brimming with star power, and its numerous cameos from Hollywood's elite only added to its glamour. If not for Deadpool & Wolverine, Blake Lively might have been a strong contender for the best kiss nominee. However, with Mary Puppins joining the cast, the Best Kiss nomination has undeniably slipped away from Lively. Moreover, given Dogpool's irresistible charm, losing her husband to this adorable co-star does not seem entirely out of the question.

Marvel Studios' latest film, Deadpool & Wolverine, which Hugh Jackman righteously calls a romantic comedy, features a star-studded cast of existing superheroes and introduces a new anti-hero to the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Dogpool. A mixed-breed pup named Peggy portrayed one of the most exciting additions among the Deadpool variants as the canine counterpart of Merc with a Mouth. Ryan Reynolds reportedly conducted a worldwide search, but Peggy stood out due to her unique appearance, according to director Shawn Levy on Marvel.com.

Before joining the cast of Deadpool & Wolverine, Peggy had some experience in the spotlight and already tasted fame, having been named "Britain's Ugliest Dog." As per official reports, Peggy underwent superhero training to join the Deadpool Corps officially. And visibly, her efforts have paid off as she has already been nominated for the best kiss of the year—likely the first of many accolades awaiting Deadpool & Wolverine.
