From being completely unknown to now having a documentary, Welcome to Wrexham, featured on them, the Red Dragons have surely come a long way. Now proving their strength and determination once again, the club defeated Yeovil Town FC with a score of 3-0 in full-time. Ryan Reynolds himself shared this wonderful news on his Instagram story.
While sharing the monumental win in his story, the Deadpool actor also mentioned that it was not Yeovil’s day today, but he loved “seeing how well they’re doing in their league.” The actor also gave a special shout-out to Jake Hyde and mentioned how good it was to see him out on the field. This victory earned Reynolds’ Wrexham AFC a trip to Shrewsbury Town in the third round of the FA Cup.
This monumental victory came after the Red Dragons defeated their competitor Morecambe F.C., with Reynolds also taking a hilarious quip at Tyson Fury.

The Welsh football team seems to be on a winning streak under the new leadership. They demonstrated this when they defeated Morecambe F.C. 6-0 in full time. While the announcement was shared with football fans on the club’s official page, Ryan Reynolds’ Instagram story took home the gold. While celebrating his team’s victory, the actor made a funny dig at Fury, saying, “Not furious at all.” The actor’s reasoning for saying this is humorous in itself.
The funny saga began when Morecambe’s most famous native, Tyson Fury, called out the Deadpool actor on his YouTube channel, Furocity. In the same video, Fury stated that while at the football game on November 25, he would “call out Ryan Reynolds.” This did not go well for him, and Reynolds implicitly called him out on his social media page. This proves that Reynolds’ easygoing attitude can transform anything into a comedy.
