However, things are looking up currently as a large budgeted project is underway to deliver a cutting-edge stand for the 2024–25 campaign. While the renovation is underway, the dynamic duo has devised a temporary stand behind the goal at the Kop End to raise overall capacity by 2,289.

Wrexham issued an official statement via the club’s official website, adding that “we can now install a temporary stand without negatively impacting the construction programme for the Kop.” The message went on to say that because the stand is more expensive than the ticket sales, there will be no roof and fans will be “exposed to any inclement weather.” The temporary stands are expected to be ready for Wrexham’s match against Newport County on December 23.

Interestingly, the statement comes after the Red Dragons defeated Yeovil Town FC and booked a trip to Shrewsbury Town in the third round of the FA Cup.
