While Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman may have shaken claws and deformed limbs for Deadpool & Wolverine, the duo had for the longest time deluded fans into thinking that they could never shake a leg with their playful rivalry. As 'playful' as it may be, the two do seem to have a breaking point; the title of the Sexiest Man Alive. 

While Hugh Jackman enjoyed the title in 2008, following a short hiccup by Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds went on to take the crown in 2010. The two now find themselves fighting for a similar title once again.

The duo first came into being as a producer, compared Gosling and Powell and made an arguably unpopular statement about the latter being better than the former.

While Glen Powell swiftly came to the rescue while putting respect in Ryan Gosling's name, the comparison had already caught eye, and them competing against each other for the title is proof of the same. Regardless of who takes how the crown of the Sexiest Summer Action Star, the drama that will unfold post the results will be worth tuning in for.
