Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Make First Public Appearance Unfazed in All Smiles Amidst Justin Baldoni Lawsuit Drama

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have always been the power couple of showbiz. Every spectator who lands an eye on these two cannot help but ask what made them click. But amidst the highlights of their careers and romantic bliss, peace took a backseat after the red carpet welcome of the million-dollar legal battle between the It Ends With Us stars, Lively, and Justin Baldoni. While Lively and Reynolds formed a dream team, refusing to leave each other’s sides amidst the trying times, tabloids and fans noted a visible lack of their joint public appearance until now.

The lovers finally caved out of their shells for their first appearance together after the lawsuit drama turned them into night owls.

Since Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni dragged their differences to the court for a formal battle, every update to follow suit has been either a reason for concern or devastation. Although Ryan Reynolds made his first public appearance without his wife for the National Board Awards in New York City, only recently was he seen with Lively. Reynolds took to his Instagram story to share a picture of the trio posted by Michele Morrone, flexing all smiles.

“Missed you guys! Love you!!,” Morrone captioned the story. In the picture, on Morrone’s right stood Reynolds, sporting a plaid shirt-jacket over a white shirt, accessorized with black rim glasses. On the actor’s left side, stood Lively posing for the selfie and doubling down on the beige palette with a lighter brown suede coat. In between the two, Morrone popped up with a black color code. Despite the color-block, their smiles were too in sync to overlook.

While this may have been Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s first joint appearance since the lawsuit, the Deadpool actor was seen in public a second time after his appearance at the National Board Awards, thanks to his friend, Hugh Jackman.

Ryan Reynolds never steps back for romance or bromance, for a matter of fact. And recently, he made his way up From New York, With Love starring Hugh Jackman at Radio City Hall. Taking to center stage, the actor wasted no time quipping with his signature pot of comedic gold. However, then followed a moment of admiration when Reynolds called Jackman “the first major movie star” he was fortunate to work with “16 or 17 years ago.”

In clips shared by The Hollywood Reporter, Reynolds was seen referencing his first-ever flick with Jackman, X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009). The Deadpool actor went on to call the Wolverine star his “gotcha for life,” sending every fan into a meltdown. Although Blake Lively was nowhere around that night, her latest appearance with Reynolds filled in the blanks for every eyebrow raised so far with questions.
