Ryan Reynolds Already Has a Marvel Cameo Ahead of ‘Deadpool 3’
Disney’s newest musical production, Rogers: The Musical, has been making whirlwinds with its deeply moving performances. The production follows the journey of Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America, as he rises to become a hero and battles alongside The Avengers in the epic Infinity Saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, eagle-eyed Marvel fans have noticed a cheeky nod to Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool in it, sparking immense excitement.
The set photos of Rogers: The Musical have revealed a hidden reference to Wade Wilson and his all-time favorite food. One of the backgrounds used during the production features a billboard advertising ‘Margaret’s Frozen Chimichangas’. It’s well known that this particular food item is Deadpool’s go-to snack and the brand name also ties in with the character’s connection to Sister Margaret’s School for Wayward Children – a bar owned by his longtime associate Weasel.

While some fans are speculating this could be a hint towards Deadpool 3, it’s more likely that this visual Easter egg is simply a homage to the beloved character. You can notice the easter egg at about 0:30 in the video. But it’s not only Deadpool who gets a nod in the musical. Another fake billboard showcases the ‘Online Closeup Magic University’, which appeared in Ant-Man and The Wasp while another advertises ‘Trust a Bro’, a company with credentials that played a significant role in the Disney+ series Hawkeye.
Initially used as a joke in Hawkeye to poke fun at Clint Barton’s Avengers involvement, Rogers: The Musical proved to be so popular that Disney and Marvel Studios decided to make it a reality. The musical is being hailed as an emotionally moving event that fans of Super Heroes, theater lovers, and families will thoroughly enjoy. It made its debut at Disney California Adventure Park on June 30th and will continue to captivate audiences until August 31st. Meanwhile, Deadpool 3 is under production with a lot of cameos on the hinge itself.
Moreover, the movie, which is Marvel Studios’ first R-rated project, is hotly anticipated. However, it appears to have hit a roadblock.

Deadpool 3 marks the first R-rated entry of any Marvel Studios production. Ryan Reynolds’ famed character notoriously uses foul language in both the comics and the previous two installments. The movie, known for its uniqueness, features unhinged violence and expletives. Fans had their hands-in-their-mouth until Marvel Studios’ president confirmed that the third movie will retain the same R-rated quirkiness as in earlier movies. Ryan Reynolds will collaborate with friend-rival Hugh Jackman as Wolverine for an epic showdown. As soon as set photos of the duo in their iconic near-comic-accurate suits surfaced when unfortunate news broke out.
Deadpool 3 has officially halted production in light of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. The Hollywood union has been protesting for better pay, compensation, and regulated use of AI. Ryan Reynolds being a member of the union has already expressed his solidarity for the same. Meanwhile, Hugh Jackman has taken some off time.
