The football club’s official Instagram account revealed the exciting news, stating that Wrexham AFC defeated Morecambe F.C. by a score of 6-0 in full-time. However, more than the win, it was Reynolds’ comment that took home the gold. The account also posted Ryan Reynolds’ story, in which he celebrated his team’s victory while taking a jibe at Tyson Fury with the comment that he’s “not furious with the result.”  

The hilarious banter began when Fury called out the Deadpool actor on his Furocity YouTube channel. In the same video, he stated that while attending the match on November 25, he would “call out Ryan Reynolds.” Interestingly, Fury had previously expressed his ambition to take over Morecambe, but he came up short, with the 20-year-old businessman Sarbjot Johal outbidding him. However, in this entire saga of calling each other out, Ryan Reynolds clearly got the upper hand this time.

Ryan Reynolds’s humor certainly lifts up anyone’s mood. He showed the same excitement when a month back his team clenched victory against its former National League rivals.

Wrexham AFC incredible win against Notts County

The Welsh football team has been on a roll lately, and the magical cloud does not appear to be leaving them anytime soon. This is exactly what happened when they played Notts County. The Red Dragons extended their winning streak with a thrilling 2-0 triumph. This created a very proud moment for the club’s owner, Ryan Reynolds, who immediately took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to express his excitement. In his tweet, the actor lauded his players and wrote, “What an effort.”

Following the joyful tweet, the actor also welcomed the amazing comeback of star defender Ben Tozer. Tozer was not initially named in the starting eleven lineup, but a pre-game injury put Ryan Tunnicliffe on the bench, thus he was added at the last minute. However, the center back did not fail to grab this opportunity and kept the Notts County attackers in check.
