Just one week before this post MyTimeToShineHello revealed on X that Marvel Studios is working on a solo project for this franchise. So this is possible the creators cast a new face this time considering more than a decade has passed since the second installment.
If this does happen, it will be the greatest opportunity for Ryan Gosling to bag the leading role. In 2022, Happy Sad Confused host Josh Horowitz confirmed that the La La Land star wants to play Johnny Blaze. According to him, the Canadian superstar would gladly take over from Nicolas Cage. The only question remains if he has any chance to get it or not.

Only a few days after Horowitz made the revelation about Gosling’s interest in the role, Kevin Feige responded to it. He told MTV News at Comic-Con that he would love to find a place for him in the superhero universe because he is incredibly talented. “He’s dressed up as Ken on Venice Beach and gets more press than giant movies coming out that weekend. It’s amazing,” added the president of MCU.

Although the actor has been offered many comic book hero roles over the years, he turned them down because he believed he was not fit for them. But Ryan Gosling has shown confidence in the role and would do his best if he gets it. Meanwhile, it remains unclear who will be portraying the iconic character since rumors say Nicolas Cage will reprise his role.
