Ryan Gosling Carries His Ken-Ergy to the Sets of ‘The Fall Guy’ as the Movie Gets a Critics Choice Seal of Distinction
Ryan Gosling chose to sustain his Ken-ergy even after the Barbie movie. This was clear as he became the life of the party at the Oscars and continued to live out his character. One would think that after having starred in the blockbusters of all blockbusters, Gosling would step back to take a breath, but the star has already made a comeback with The Fall Guy.
Bringing the most bizarre of the Barbenheimer crossovers to life, Gosling is starring alongside Emily Blunt in an action comedy that has just been released on May 3rd. However, time is only a number for a masterpiece, and the new distinction that Gosling's movie earned is proof of the same.

Many may argue that the movie's first step to success was taken when Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt were chosen as the leads. Although that might be true, it is only now, post the first show of the movie that a clear proof has been spotted. The Fall Guy has earned the Critics Choice Seal of Distinction in less than twenty-four hours of its release.
For the unversed, the Critics Choice Seal of Distinction is given to those movies that earn high approval among critics within the first week. In recent times, Dune 2 has been on the receiving end of this distinction. While the science fiction movie already had a successful predecessor to help its case, Ryan Gosling's movie wins as a standalone.
While it now has Critics Choice Seal of Distinction to flaunt, whether the movie will manage to turn the tides at the box office still remains to be seen.

Cinephiles have waited for the string of movies releasing this summer for a long time now. While Zendaya won with her Challengers performance, the predictions for The Fall Guy are all over the place. The movie does have an intriguing plot that follows a stuntman, which guarantees action scenes like no other. This led to many speculating on an opening day collection of around $30M-$40M.
Given how the movie has already managed to gain the critcs' approval, it is likely that it might follow Challengers' path to become a surprise hit or even surpass the same. Whatever the case, it is very unlikely that Ryan Gosling will be able to break the record that Barbie had set.
