Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney once did not know a single thing about football, despite owning the world’s third-oldest football club. However, they dedicatedly learned the game and have high hopes for their club. They even shared their ultimate goal for their beloved club and thought they could make it happen.

Wrexham FC recently got a lot of attention because of their historic promotion. However, before they even thought about getting promoted to League Two, the club owners had this big dream that they shared in their interview with Sky Sports Network. When they took over the club, they had a dream of taking the club to the Premier League. The interviewer asked them if their goal was still the same.

To which, McElhenney answered positively and said, “Why not?” recognizing the fact that it was a long journey. The Deadpool actor added the uncertainty aspect of the game. He said anything could happen in the game. Reynolds said if they put together the greatest team and they went against anyone, Wrexham players could knock them down. “This is the place where hopes and dreams are born every day. So, why not?” added the 46-year-old actor.
