Royal Siblings Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Get Special Mentions at 2025 Invictus as Parents Rejoice in Delight
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had an eventful February, seamlessly balancing professional ventures and philanthropy. After helping the victims of the LA wildfire, while also navigating the Duchess' new Netflix show promotions, they quickly returned to their philanthropic and advocacy work again. Most recently, they graced Vancouver with their presence, hosting the winter edition of the Invictus Games and celebrating the resilience of its athletes.
Yet, no matter how much they try to keep their children out of the spotlight, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet always find their way into the conversation—this time, with a special mention at the 2025 Invictus Games.

Derrick Cobbinah, CEO and co-founder of the Africa Unconquered Foundation took to X today to extend a special nod to the youngest Sussexes. Cobbinah shared a picture with Prince Harry, holding two sports jerseys. The royal siblings have been gifted personalized Team Nigeria sports jerseys with their names emblazoned on them. The two may not have been present, but they certainly were not forgotten. "Proud to present the Team Nigeria kit to the Sussex family," wrote Cobinah.
As to the reason for the kids' absence, royal experts have a very simple explanation for that. On Hello! magazine’s A Royal Podcast, Emily Nash noted that, unlike their cousins, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet were not expected to attend, because, as she put it, "their roles are different." The Sussex siblings were not the only ones in the spotlight that day.
Their parents, never ones to go unnoticed, ensured the spotlight had plenty to work with. And, once again, the town has found itself no shortage of things to say about the couple.

Now, the newly-appointed US president has joined the conversation, offering his own opinions on the couple. Along with dismissing deportation rumors, Donald Trump added that the Duke had "enough trouble" with his "terrible" wife in an interview with the New York Post. But Prince Harry, ever the diplomat, took to the Invictus stage to reflect resilience and integrity, a message some took as a hidden dig.

Others simply saw a man reminding the world how very much he loves his wife. And so, the Sussexes remain at the center of it all, royalty without a throne, celebrities without a script, and, as ever, magnets for opinions both loud and unwarranted. As the debates rage on and the headlines keep rolling, one truth remains, wherever they go, the spotlight is sure to follow.
