Royal Fans Flood the Streets of Central London to Observe the Coronation of Their New King

This year’s one of the most highly anticipated royal occasions finally took place with great pomp and pageantry at the royal central in the United Kingdom. After days of relentless rehearsals, the world finally witnessed King Charles ascend to the throne as the new monarch of the state. World delegates and high-profile aristocrats made their appearance in the royal finale. Nonetheless, what made the day for King Charles was his elated Kingdom and rejoicing subjects adding charm to his coronation ceremony. Long before the service commenced in the Abbey, the royal central in London was throbbing with fans all over.

Not just on the day of the coronation, but eager followers have been waiting at the royal central for days on end. People magazine was on the ground asking the whereabouts of the flock of fans eagerly waiting outside the church premises. As ecstatic as they were, some even forgot their night’s sleep to witness King Charles ascend the throne as the new monarch. The England rain had almost become a hurdle for the King ahead of his crowning. 

Nonetheless, the damp weather could not dampen the coronation fever among the spectators. For the Whitehall was flooded with fans with banners and flags as they awaited the historic event to unfold. The deafening cheers and loud cries from the onlookers kept echoing through the streets of London. The royal occasion was no less than a festival for the Englishmen of the island.

Fans could not be any happier at King Charles’ coronation

While some were pouring in claps and cries for the military parade, others just enjoyed themselves with families outside. People were seen exchanging sweets amongst themselves. Whereas toddlers and infants were given chairs to rest in throughout the hours-long ceremony.

It was the first coronation in 70 years, and the pomp was on full display. This was not the first time the fans showered their immense love for the royals. A few days ago, King Charles, his heir to the throne with Prince William, and the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton delighted the fans with a surprise visit to The Mall. Fans camped over each other, trying to get a glimpse of the Princess. Meanwhile, the monarch and the future king exchanged some hearty pleasantries with the fans.
