The Royal Family Did Not Let Meghan Markle Use the Word “C*ck” on ‘Suits’, Reveals Show Creator
With the Meghan Markle starrer Suits sweeping the Netflix audience off their feet, the cast has come to enormous light in recent times. Starting from the famous show creator Aaron Korsh to single most crew on the sets, everyone is enjoying the taste of bewildering success four years after it ended. However, with success comes the bitter taste of controversies maintaining the equilibrium on the Sussexes weighing scale. As the team basked in the glory of endless stardom, Aaron Korsh took the helm to feed some the frenzy.

Royal Family put restrictions on Suits scripts starring Meghan Markle

With Meghan Markle being the face of the current Netflix blockbuster, nonetheless, rapid-fire about the Duchess and the British royal family became inevitable. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Korsh opened up on how the interference of the royal family turned out irritating to him at times. He revealed how there were “a few things that we wanted to do, and couldn’t do”
There was a scene where there were Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle portrayed a couple’s conversation. There Markle’s character, Rachel, was to pour out a sensitive topic to her love interest, Mike Ross. Nonetheless, they had Meghan Markle saying it was impossible. “The royal family did not want her to say the word c*ck,” together in ‘poppycock,’ said Korsh.
Ultimately, they altered the entire word to “bullshit” instead of further modifications.
Aaron Korsh tagged the royal family’s interference as total bullshit
Barely recalling how things got complicated on the show, the writer revealed they could not keep track of the script leak to the royal family. Weighing on the crew’s reaction to the fiasco, Korsh revealed he could not help but get irritated at the obstruction. “When you’re making and running a show, any time that anybody tells you that you can’t do what you want to do, [being irritated is] your initial reaction,” he said. He would be like, “This is bullshit!”

Aaron Korsh, however, made peace with the facts, reasoning out the move by the royal family. The palace did not want people cutting sensitive words off from Markle’s dialogue, leading her to controversies. Upon retrospect, even Korsh realized he “wouldn’t want somebody doing that to her either”. Hence, lastly, he would be like, “Well, OK, it’s pretty reasonable. Whatever,” and move forward.
