The Prince Harry and Prince William rivalry has gone too far to come near a truce. The estranged brothers called it quits long ago and the already strained ties now seem bleak with the uprising of the latest controversies. The Duke of Sussex has strived forward unhindered to drag his father and elder brother into court premises. Meanwhile, the heir to the throne has not cared enough to even ignore Prince Harry’s claims. However, it all caught fire with Prince Harry’s bombshell allegations about King’s eldest. In light of the current dynamics, a royal expert has got her say in the brothers’ dilapidated relationship. 

The Spare memoir and last year’s Netflix bombshell were all about Prince Harry exposing the royal family for their partiality towards the two brothers. Having termed his entire publication under the same name, Prince Harry was all about how the Palace always treated him like a shadow, a plan B.. Months later, royal expert and long-standing biographer Tina Brown has voiced some opinions from the perspective of Prince Harry. 

Brown states that Prince Harry is of the opinion that “William was even more calculated” than anyone else to make him the Spare. While talking to LBC’s Andrew Marr, the expert claimed that at present, the brothers are totally estranged. She thinks what Prince Harry feels is Prince William essentially had a hand “in making him the number two, making him the spare, and feel like the spare at all times.”

Are there any chances of reconciliation between Prince Harry and Prince William?

When asked about any chances of reconciliation, Tina Brown did not have a positive answer for the Princes. “Alienations tend to get worse as time goes by,” affirmed the expert talking of the princes. And even if we were to hope for the slightest chances of amendments, “it’s going to take years” or so claimed the biographer. 

Once again drawing parallels between the historic feuds of royal brothers, King George VI and King Edward VIII, the reports say that the new-age brothers are “on absolute thin ice“. At this point, there is no contact between the two. And King Charles’ forthcoming coronation is not going to bring any miracles around the same either.
