Royal Author Sheds Light on Distance Between Prince Archie & Princess Lilibet and Their Cousins, Amidst Royal Drama
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to part ways with the royal family also jeopardized their children’s royal connections. This estrangement also naturally cut the cord between the next generation of the royal family- the Sussexes’ Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet- and the Wales’ Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The royal cousins were separated at a very young age and never had the chance to grow close.
A royal author recently shed light on the current state of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s kids compared to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s, and how they hardly know anything about each other.

The estranged royal cousins have met a couple of times. In fact, back in the summer of 2019, they were seen on a heart-melting outing to watch their dads play in a polo match. Following Megxit, however, there has been little to no interaction between the children. Royal author Phil Dampier recently claimed to The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine that Prince William and Kate Middleton’s kids “know very little about their cousins across the pond.”
Dampier also alleged that the Wales’ kids “are never likely to be close to” Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The royal author revealed that the Wales’ kids were invited to Princess Lilibet’s first birthday party at Frogmore Cottage. However, the invitation was turned down. Two years later, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave the same treatment to an alleged invitation from Prince William and Kate Middleton for the Sussexes’ children.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are apparently trying to resolve the strained relationship, especially between the children, according to a royal expert.

Royal author and commentator Tom Quinn revealed in a conversation with The Mirror that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were invited to bring their children to the UK. This invitation came from Prince William and Kate Middleton, who reportedly wanted the Sussex children to visit the family. However, Markle has allegedly refused to bring her children to the UK.
“There is no way Meghan would bring the children to the UK,” stated Tom Quinn. He also shared recently that King Charles suspects Prince Harry of having self-serving motives and is outraged that the Duke is using his children as a royal “bargaining chip". Whether or not these reports are credible, with Prince Harry’s UK security issues still unresolved, it seems unlikely that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will step onto their royal turf anytime soon.
