Robert Pattinson Has A Hilarious Take On Being Called ''the last movie star"

Published 03/09/2025, 10:17 PM EDT

Robert Pattinson seems to have taken up quite a few hobbies as of late. From a side-gig as an expendable on space quests, saving the world in a black cloak and batlike ears, of course; getting cloned so he could be of as much help to humanity as he can offer, and lastly, to top it all off, ceramics. And what we see is a stark image of a very regular thirty-eight-year-old. So when he is called one of the "last movie stars", right to his face, he seems to wish to have been portraying it more aptly as well. Not that anyone had minded.

With Pattinson's amount of versatility, one is bound to have built an intrinsic humility to themselves. And so seems to have the Twilight star.

Robert Pattinson's boisterous meekness might often compel one to inspect it. But it is even more surprising when he humors himself on whether he even makes a good "last movie star". Having been badged with the label by the iconic New York Times Style Magazine, the actor later exclaimed while going over the press release, "you have to put it in perspective", after off-handedly calling the pedestal given to him as "cool". But he further explains in Premiere France's March 2025 that for being titled as something so, it might have been better for a picture of him clay molding an innuendo-laden mug handle; to have been something else instead.

As he laughs off the little mishap, only slightly concerned about what any reader going through the article might think; it should be evident by the first few paragraphs of the New York Times Style magazine publish, that Pattinson's choice of presenting his own is also, through character. Having chosen to be brought to a ceramics workshop and then crafting a mug he thought would be "satisfying to have a cup this large", it was on his own humorous accord that he sat challenging this press exposure, just to see how it would be used later on.

Alongside being established as one of the last remaining legitimate movie stars of Hollywood, Pattison is also often seen striving to maintain the title given. Not to be lost on his latest endeavor with Mickey17.

Robert Pattinson's fan frenzying, morbid twist to a space adventure.

With the movie released on March 7, 2025, expectations for it to hit an 18 million mark finishing its first week is already in the talks. While its cement seems to be drying a little later than expected, this Robert Pattison x Bong Joon-ho collaboration is not one to be looked over in the coming years, having already been predicted to be a surefire contender at the Oscars 2026. Come its release, Mickey17 has been revealed to be a dark-humor satire of the crisis of identity and how an individual puts through it. The project also tackles revered director Bong Joon-ho's running niche for addressing the violence of social strata and class differences, using the metaphor of the susceptibility one holds to being disposed of if not deemed useful enough for the runners of the world.
