Downey, who plays the role of the US Atomic Energy Commission Chair, was initially doubtful of his acting in the mind-bending masterpiece. Having played the fictional Iron Man, the Hollywood A-lister was a hundred percent concerned about his versatility.
The weight of his instinct from the MCU affecting his acting skills as a support star in Oppenheimer bothered him quite a lot. Nonetheless, he got past it.
