Throughout the two-part finale, the Cooper clan struggled to come to terms with the sudden passing of George, played by Lance Barber, who tragically passed away from a heart attack on the show. Sheldon, on the other hand, played by Iain Armitage, regretted not handling things differently in the final moments before his father headed to work the day before. The conclusion of the finale brought things full circle, with Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik returning to their Big Bang Theory roles as adult Sheldon and his wife, Amy.
