Cavill has openly admitted to his video game addiction, which he humorously calls “fatal”. However, his passion for wealth is equally evident. In a revealing moment during his work on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. back in 2015, Cavill disclosed that he hails from a prosperous background, with his father working as a stockbroker. He was no stranger to wealth, starting his journey into privilege by enrolling in a prestigious boarding school with a $37,000 yearly tuition fee at the age of 13.
This is precisely why he refused to feign indifference towards money. In fact, Cavill took it a step further by addressing actors who claim not to like money. In an interview with The Guardian in 2015, Cavill expressed, “and anyone who says they don’t like money is being ridiculous”. The actor best known as the Man of Steel went on to emphasize that money has its allure and that acting can be quite lucrative. One can easily see his deep affection for money in the way the $40 million worth actor lives large.
Besides his fondness for wealth, he once confessed to being an obsessive gamer with a touch of toxicity, which ultimately got linked to his The Witcher exit.

There were initially two theories regarding Cavill’s departure from The Witcher. One cited his commitments as Superman, while the other pointed to creative disagreements due to deviations from the source material. Another round of allegations, however, suggested a more troubling reason: claimed of toxic behavior on set, making further collaboration difficult.
Cavill, celebrated for his professionalism, had no history of misconduct until now. The actor from Enola Holmes has a strong and long-standing interest in video games. At one point, he was so engrossed in playing World of Warcraft that he nearly missed an important call from Zack Snyder. Surprisingly, this was about his role in Man of Steel. This same passion for gaming also fueled his dedication to The Witcher.
