Over the years, the famous ’90s sitcom, Friends, has been entertaining fans. All the characters, their stories, their personalities, and their unbreakable relationship with each other have fascinated the viewers. So much so that the cast reflected this unbreakable bond even off-screen. Although for a hard-core fan of the show, all the episodes are pretty memorable, however, there is one that just tops every other. And it has all the characters mingling with each other.

Throughout 10 seasons, all the characters shined in their own lights. While they ended up the way they did, there was a point in the show where it seemed a little different. And it was about an aspect of the past from their lives.

Until season 3 episode 6, everything seemed pretty normal. However, the entire perspective changed when Janice asked this question: “Have any of you almost…?” Well, almost slept with anyone in the group. Because, like Janice, the viewers also had this question if any of these had a tangled past with each other. So, this episode answers this very hilariously. At the beginning of the episode, we get to know that Phoebe has moved out of Monica’s apartment without telling her. Ross confronts Phoebe and asks her to tell Monica.

Meanwhile, Chandler comes with his difficulties of finding a roommate. Here, he mentions an actor guy, who also made fun of Chandler’s name. Ross talks about how her married life with Carrol goes mentioning her friendship with her new friend, Susan. Continuing with his search for a roommate, Chandler meets Joey, where Monica expresses her surprise at how good-looking Joey was! Meanwhile, there was Rachel, who was about to get married to Barry in a year. She was at the bar that was going to be a coffee shop (Central Perk), enjoying her bachelorette, where she expressed her desire to have one last meaningless night with a stranger.

Guess who comes into the picture here? Chandler Bing. As the plot moves forward, it was seen that Ross was depressed about finding out his wife was a lesbian. On the one hand, we see Monica trying to flirt with Joey as she invites him to have a glass of lemonade. And on the other hand, we see sizzling vibrations between Chandler and Rachel. Toward the end of the episode, we see Ross and Phoebe talking to each other at the bar when no one is around. Now, one thing leads to another, and Ross and Phoebe kiss.

Although they do not go all the way to share intimacy, they sure come a lot closer. Now, Joey and Monica, Ross and Phoebe, and Chandler and Rachel almost came closer to share some intimate moments with each other. But this was not the plot twist.

Remember, Chandler tries to find a roommate? Actually, he chose the photographer, Eric, initially. However, when he comes with his bags ready to move in, the most interesting and loved character from the show stops him. He was none other than Mr. Heckles. The one who lives below Monica’s apartment and complains a lot. This time as well, he comes to complain but Phoebe slams him down.

When he was going back, he met Eric in the hallway and introduced himself as Chandler’s new roommate. Mr. Heckles’ interaction with Eric drives him away, leaving Chandler no choice but to have Joey, whom Hank Azaria also wanted to play, as his roommate. And the rest is history. Because this episode gave a solid context about the characters’ background, fans adore this the most. And, of course, they thank Mr. Heckles for driving Eric away.
