The entire world is hyping Barbie and Oppenheimer‘s release. While these two movies are making historic moments, fans are hyping over this forgotten moment from the ’90s sitcom Friends. The 1994 sitcom, where 6 friends live together throughout the show, has some iconic moments. One of them was resurrected amidst the global hype around the recently released films.

While Oppenheimer talks about a horrific historic nuclear invention by J. Robert Oppenheimer, Barbie talks about an entirely different theme. The Greta Gerwig movie redefines the purpose of toys with the undertone of generalizing gender roles. Amidst these two films, a clip from the show, Friends caught the attention of fans. The clip features Ross trying to convince his son, Ben, not to play with the Barbie. Although Ben holds tight to his doll and neglects his father’s attempts to make him play with a monster truck or a dino soldier.

Watching all his failed attempts, Rachel jumps in saying, “Ross, you are so pathetic. Why can’t your son just play with his doll?” This is one of the messages from the Greta Gerwig movie as well. And as soon as fans watched this clip, they could not hold their emotions about this hilarious scene.

They talked about how Ben gets the message from the Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie film. Moreover, they also talked about Ben being ahead of his time. While the world is talking about Barbie and Oppenheimer movies simultaneously, an Instagram user pointed out this was the “Real barbie vs Oppenheimer.” One of the Instagram users expressed happiness by writing, “Love that even back then…..
