Queen Elizabeth Lives! – Royals Honored the Late Queen in Their Ways at the Coronation Ceremony
Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation took place 70 years ago. Her coronation was the first to get televised and was watched by more than 20 million people. Following her footsteps, her son King Charles ascended the throne on May 6, 2023. The coronation of King Charles was a grand affair that was attended by royals and celebrities all over the world. The festivities concluded with the concert, which was a night dedicated to arts and King’s love for music.
While the late Queen couldn’t see her son ascend the throne, her presence was still strongly felt.
British royal family honored the late Queen in their own ways

At the coronation ceremony, members of the royal family honored and remembered the Queen in their own specific ways as reported by E!News. Starting from the royal invitations of the coronation that motifs of lily flowers, which are said to be the late Queen’s favorite. The lilies were also a part of her coronation bouquet back in 1953.
The website of the royal family reported that the High Altar at the coronation had boughs cut from flowering shrubs and trees from the five royal. It also included branches from the pair of Dawyck beech trees planted by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh at RHS Wisley in 1978.
The new king and queen honored the late Queen in their own beautiful ways. They both arrived at the Diamond Jubilee State Coach that was made to honor Queen Elizabeth’s 60th anniversary. The new Queen, Camilla, entered the Westminster Abbey by wearing the crimson Robe of State, worn by the late Queen during her coordination in 1953. On the other hand, King Charles sat on the 700-year-old oak chair and wore the same crown as her mother: a solid hold and ruby and amethyst encrusted crown.

Kate Middleton’s tribute to the late Queen
The future queen, Middleton, too honored the late Queen in her own way. She was seen wearing the three-strand George VI Festoon necklace that elongated to the late Queen. She also honored Princess Diana by wearing her pearl earrings that got a lot of love from the royal fans. The Princess was also praised for her crown that honored the maids of the 1953 coronation.
