Queen Elizabeth Knew of What Murdoch Papers Were Doing to the Royal Family, Claims Prince Harry
Prince Harry has submitted a thrilling document to the British court listing 208 Mail on Sunday and MailOnline articles that his legal team says show illegal access to private information about him. While doing so, Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, got little to no support from his fellow royals, for obvious reasons. The senior-most kept themselves away from muddying the waters, as usual. However, there was one member standing tall with the Duke back when he took the call. It was none other than the former monarch, the late Queen Elizabeth herself.

The former monarch was well aware of the damage Murdoch’s Business caused to the royal family. With the illegal phone call tappings and the letter hacking, the Queen was as furious as the Duke against the British tabloids. Like the Duke, the Queen was pretty aware of how the now-defunct News Group Newspaper was keeping a close tab on the royal family.
The Queen had agreed to the tabloids’ investigation
All the Prince wanted was an apology from the press to have caused a disruption in his family. Siding with the same was the Queen, who approved “threatening tabloid executives with legal action”. The late Queen’s involvement in the current case has come up time and again. Reports suggested the monarch was “privately” supporting Harry’s action against the Mail on Sunday and other tabloids.
As reported by The Guardian, all of the Prince’s claims were put down by the King. He in fact believes that these were reportedly to promote positive stories of the King and the Queen among the masses. While the Queen usually avoids public involvement in legal disputes with members of the royal family, her private support highlights the intrusion of the media into the private lives of public figures.

Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales had secured a significant amount from the tabloid association. This was to walk away ‘silently’ from crucial matters of concern.
