King Charles III’s coronation has been all over the news. From the guest list to the first female sword bearer, there were so many historic moments from the ceremony. Tradition and modernity were seen in the choices of clothes made by the royal family. From Kate Middleton’s floral tiara to George VI’s crimson Robe of State on the King, there are many to look for. And recently, royal fans have gotten insights into a fellow royal’s coronation dress. 

Queen Camilia paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth with her robe that was made for the former Queen during her coronation. Recently, the Queen’s favorite designer has entitled the fans with new information about the gown.

New pictures of Queen Camila’s coronation gown

Queen Camilla opted for her favorite designer, Bruce Oldfield, for the white, gorgeous dress she wore at the ceremony. The dress had intricate embroidery of gold with an exquisite embroidery of flowers. Oldfield shared detailed images of the gown that made an exciting revelation: The two dogs of the Queen were embroidered on her gown.

Apart from this, the dress also had a royal cipher, the names of her grandchildren. The hem of the gown had a representation of the United Kingdom’s four nations with a rose, thistle, daffodil, and shamrock.

A fan asked Goldfield if they can ever see the dress on display, to which the designer replied, “….the date (14/07/23) is when it opens in the Palace.” Seems like fans need to wait until July for the Palace gates to open and have a look at this breathtaking dress. Bruce Oldfield was also a preferred choice for some of the most iconic dresses of Prince Diana back in the 1980s. 

During the release of the official portraits of the new King and Queen, fans definitely missed their People’s Princess more than ever. Fans gave all sorts of reactions on Twitter to the same. One even wrote, “When your side chick gets the spotlight and always look uncomfortable while knowing she will never compare to the first wife.”

Not only this, Princess Diana even trended on Twitter on the coronation day. Fans spotted a resemblance of the late Princess with her granddaughter, Princess Charlotte. 

As per British tabloids, King Charles has a lot of plans to modernize the monarchy and bring new changes to the system. He even wants to reduce the list of 22 high-ranking royals to a strict number of 7. One can only wait and watch how the United Kingdom will prosper under its new King.
