Queen Camilla Brings Back an Outfit Closely Associated With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Being a royal might mean flaunting a new regal ensemble for each time the Earth rotates on its axis, but not for the baby boom generation. The latest royal icons, like the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, and the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, have perfectly established themselves as the flag bearers of royal trends. Before the young royals, the most iconic female persona of the era, Princess Diana, too, had already pushed the bars a bit too high. However, the competition seems to be too tough for her counterpart, Queen Camilla, to be on par.
The Queen Consort recently made a public appearance with the monarch King Charles. And the talk of the town is not about what they did, but what they wore, especially the Queen Camilla. Their Majesties stepped out on Wednesday to attend the second day of horse races at the Royal Ascot. However, as reported by People, eagle-eyed fans could not help but instantly notice a wardrobe recycle by the Queen Consort. It seems like the Queen has not gone any further than the royal closet for her current public affairs.

Her Majesty appeared in a pale pink coat by Anna Valentine, which reportedly dates back to a special occasion of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. As was pointed out by the onlookers, it was the same ensemble the Queen Consort wore on the day the Duke and the Duchess tied the knot at St George’s Chapel. The dress hence dates back to the year 2018, five years down the lane.
What were the royal ensembles at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding?
Many guests at the royal wedding chose to wear pastel shades for the Sussex wedding. It was in fact for the same reason why Queen consort Camilla decided to go with the pale pink. Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, opted for a pale mint green outfit while the Princess of Wales opted for a light yellow.
Kate Middleton’s dress at the spring nuptials caused quite a spark following the spectacle. The intensely light yellow dress chosen by her was mistaken as a white outfit by many due to the bright sun. And for those unversed, wearing whites at royal weddings has forever been a symbol of trying to defame or upstage the bride in some ways.

The controversies that followed were quite inevitable. Although, it was later clarified that Middleton’s dress was yellow and not white as it seemed. Not to mention, the infamous bridesmaid controversy that has been coming up in the royal rota to this date.
