There are a few actors that Hollywood can boast about for their versatility. And one such actor is the 39-year-old Britisher, Henry Cavill. Having entered the industry back in 2001, Cavill has won the hearts of millions with his diverse set of skills garnering a cult-classic following. Their reaction when he passed on his Elven sword and gave up his red and blue cape is perhaps an example of their love for him. But now they are showing their love by demanding his casting as James Bond.

Ever since Cavill got free from his iconic roles, fans have explicitly mentioned their wish to see him play the greatest spy of all time, James Bond. After Daniel Craig’s 007, director Debbie McWilliams put up a casting call for the role and has since made fans speculate about the new actor. However, instead of wandering, it seems like they have already come to a conclusion.

After McWilliams recently explained why Cavill, the top contender for the role could not make it to the 2006 reboot of Casino Royale, one of the Twitteratis again brought up the topic of the recent 007 casting call. One fan tweeted how hiring Henry Cavill as the next James Bond “should be the easiest decision ever.” This further prompted fans to even announce to “put him in everything.”

Ever since the former Superman actor joined the industry, he has won the hearts of millions with his many detective roles. And the James Bond casting call is perhaps a perfect opportunity for him to fulfill fans’ wish. While some users said it will give them immense joy to see the Mission Impossible: Fallout actor as the next James Bond. Others simply find him fit for everything.

Another fan notably confessed they would be happy after a long time.

One fan also avidly put up a list of all the shows they want to see the British actor in. While another fan confessed he wants to see more of his Napoleon solos. An installment to his Man from U.N.C.L.E would perhaps calm their thirst as well.

Furthermore, fans also explain why they think Cavill can handle action movies and anything else thrown at him.

However, all these are fan wishes and nothing has been officially announced yet. So fans can only hope their wish becomes reality.
