Upon retrospect, keeping aside all the tags and labels of a “rogue royal” or “wayward son” the Duke of Sussex shines brightly to this date, being hailed as a war hero. Most likely he forever will be, as his contributions to the royal military hold significant importance at a time when the air was filled with fear and apprehension from the Taliban in Afghanistan. However, unfortunately, having broken all ties with King Charles and Prince William, Prince Harry has also lost all correspondence with the royal army unit he once held so dear to his existence. 

Years later, we got a new royal commander to the Duke’s unit. And it is none other than Prince Harry’s brother-turned-arch nemesis, Prince William. Express recently made it public that the heir to the throne is all set to take on his brother’s old army regime. Upon appointment, he is to become the Colonel-in-chief of the regime named Army Air Corps. 

Reports have also suggested that if the royal fallout never happened in the first place, Prince Harry with his incredible experience, might have one day in a bid to bag the top rank. Unlike other royals, Prince Harry’s unusual bequest had made him the face of the unit he served. While Prince William’s involvement in defense due to the protocols that come along with being the heir to the throne is limited, Prince Harry has evidently indulged in direct combat with enemies on the field. For the Army Air Corps unit, he served as an Apache pilot.

However, situations stand dramatically controversial as the rivalry between the brothers stands at a brutal point of no return. 

Can Prince Harry and Prince William ever reconcile?

The answers to this stand as uncertain as ever since there are various instances that support either of the two possibilities. Reports had it that the Duke recently made a phone call to his elder brother to settle the disputes. However, the back-to-back snubs and Prince Harry’s bombshells denigrating the royal family have far outweighed any strings attached between the families. Apart from the highly important royal spectacles, the brothers hardly rub shoulders anymore.

The last time the Duke was on the royal premises was for King Charles’ grand coronation ceremony. Showing up for merely two hours, the estranged royal rushed back to the US to celebrate his firstborn, Prince Archie’s, birthday. It was evident that the brothers did not come face to face despite being under the same roof. Prince Harry’s shocking allegations have thus served their ties.
