The full-fledged battle between Prince Harry vs Britain’s unforgiving tabloids is getting more intense by the minute. After a month of heated court hearings and continuous back-and-forth between the Prince’s lawyers and Murdoch’s, the court finally heads toward a trial as decided in the previous month. While some of the Duke’s claims forced publications to beg pardon to the royal, others backfired on the Prince himself. The Duke currently has three parallel legal ongoings at the moment. The extraordinary witness statement led to striking revelations about the royal family. Nonetheless, it is now time the Prince gets his sleeves rolling.

As reported by Reuters, the Prince will evidently become the first senior British royal in a period of one hundred and thirty years to testify in the witness box of a legal court. As is obvious by now, the trial proceedings will take place because of his accusations against the British tabloids for unlawful behavior.

Evidently, it now seems like Prince Harry is literally the modern-day King Edward VIII. The fact that the last time a British royal appeared on court premises was Prince Edward VIII substantiates the same. The controversial Prince had an ongoing divorce in the year 1870. Twenty years further, he testified once again in a slander trial over a card game. It is noted that both of the cases were filed long before he succeeded to the British throne, only to surrender the controversies surrounding his unusual marriage.

Experts have come to label such cases as one of the finest examples of “mutually assured destruction.” Which is why the royal family has forever opted to keep court proceedings at bay. They are apparently very well aware that such situations are never under The Crown’s control.

The royal family might now have its Prince’s back. The outlet also revealed that other hundreds of celebrities and high-profile figures do. The lot comprises renowned Hollywood star Hugh Grant, well-known music icon Elton John, John Cleese, and numerous others. While Prince Harry had a little downside for not gathering enough evidence against the Mirror publications, Hugh Grant went all smiles as he got the upper hand.
