Almost a decade ago, Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games to celebrate the resilience of wounded military personnel and veterans. Today, it is one of the most renowned sporting events around the world. As this year’s edition kicked off three days ago, the Duke of Sussex touched down in Germany. For him, the games that are being held in Düsseldorf this year signify a deeply meaningful commitment. Especially because he was a military man once too.

With its aim to spread camaraderie and support among military communities, the Invictus Games kicked off day two of the event yesterday. And the usual fanfare the royal receives was made even more special with the presence of two adorable youngins.

Crowds gather for Prince Harry at Invictus Games

In a clip shared by Daily Mail, Prince Harry was seen walking past a hoard of people who had gathered to catch the event. While he held his hand out for those who wanted a quick shake, two boys who stood inside the barricade received extra special high-fives from the prince. This recognition from the 38-year-old left the younger one overjoyed and jumping in excitement. 

After the standing ovation that the Spare author received on day one, this had to be the second-best moment from the ongoing event. Not only did he make the military communities day but also left the two boys with an unforgettable moment to remember him by.

Meanwhile, people wondered where Meghan Markle has been in the last few days. Barring a couple, The Suits actress has attended the Invictus Games every year since she started dating Prince Harry.

While Prince Harry continues to win hearts at the event, Meghan Markle has been reported to be joining him soon. So far, the 42-year-old has not appeared in the previous two days, but she might be seen in the stands tomorrow. And more than anything, many are looking forward to seeing how she brings her style to the games this year like she did so fabulously in 2022.

The Duchess of Sussex is known to bring her A-game when it comes to the games that are so close to her beau’s heart. Meanwhile, the 38-year-old open-hearted demeanor suggests that he is loving his time in Germany already.
