Prince Harry Never Got Coronation Invitation From King Charles, Clarifies a Friend
Regardless of the ongoing controversies and everyday back and forth, Prince Harry’s presence at King Charles’ Crowning ceremony is a sure thing. Although the Duke will be rushing through the event to get back to his son, Prince Archie, he will render off his duties at the coronation ceremony in his royal base. This confirmation came a week ago when both Buckingham Palace and the Archewell Foundation made public the Duke’s confirmation. However, the invitation that Prince Harry received did not come the way he wanted.
As reported by People Magazine, the Duke of Sussex received the invitation for his father’s coronation through “somebody” else. These claims were made by a source close to the Sussexes. According to the source, the Prince wanted it to come straight from his father. Alas, nothing of that sort ever happened. He instead received a mail from his father’s office to which they refused to respond for days on end. “Harry wanted to hear from his father directly — it’s always through somebody,” claimed the friend to People. The Duke was thus disappointed as he “didn’t hear from Charles.”

As reported earlier by trusted sources, Prince Harry sought a heart-to-heart sit down with his estranged father before taking any decisions. While many claimed it did not happen as planned, People tells us that the Duke and the King did have “positive conversations” although not in person. Prince Harry has not seen any of his family members regarding the matter. His arrival in the United Kingdom will mark their first official encounter post the bombshell tell-all series of Spare and the Netflix documentary.

It is now no secret that back in the United States, Prince Harry still seeks the presence of his own. While sitting down for his promotional interviews for Spare, he made it clear that he wants his father and brother back. In an interview with Tom Bradby surrounding the book’s release, the Duke had confessed, “There’s a lot that can happen between now and then. But the door is always open.”

According to him, it is on the Palace to decide how the relations grow further. “The ball is in their court.” Nonetheless, he feels, communication is the key. Despite everything that has happened in the last couple of days, he “really hopes that they’re willing to sit down and talk about it.”
